I am going to present my very first normal poem. As in normal from my standards. I have taken a lot of pains in writing this, so don't be too harsh on criticising it. I am NOT a poet, so consider this before you read. AND, maybe your 3 year old niece could whip out something better than this..but still, thnx to many people's motivation I am taking this step! :)
I name my poem LOVE..as it the easiest, yet most difficult to express..
Love, for me is like,
Two petals of a flower,
Bound tightly,
Parted slightly,
You cannot fathom it's power..
Born as a bud,
They rise from the mud,
Beautifully and gracefully,
They may part in the near future,
Only to meet again..
Their souls are entwined,
Destinies intertwined,
and unlike mankind,
They leave all their sorrows behind..
They smile as the sun shines,
Dance in the bright rainbow,
Flutter in the frost snow,
Twitter in the hot weather,
but never do they turn bitter..
Even when their life ends,
They are smiling,
They fall together,
Not breaking the phenomenon,
They start afresh together,
and remain in love forever..
P.S. I dedicate this poem to Shreya, my bestie, forever.. Who taught me to love! Whatever may happen, I will love you always! :)

Hi,
I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Crazy Beginnings
’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;
BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!
This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)
Cheers,
Ray
@Vinod

@ray

@Omi
thnx :) yea..no probs..but i just wanted it to be simple..so i kept a simple but deep name..! :)
"Bound tightly, Parted slightly" - Very thoughtful lines, Sunshine! I like the simplicity in the poems, poets write during their starting days. I wish they could sustain that forever. Hope you will keep it alive! Good luck! A nice write!
I know.. It's like my mst favourite..I hope to sustain that simplicity :)
Thanks!
